Building Your Professional Value -
ITUG Can Help

Don't sit back and let your career happen - create the ultimate career - one that inspires solutions, instills value and engages your mind. To achieve that goal, individuals must be pro-active and make a commitment to their success. Engaging in relevant professional activities in conjunction with current job duties, can be a seamless transition.

The International NonStop Users' Group is a forum for the exchange of relevant information and therefore provides the ultimate opportunity to build professional value and becomes the inroad for complete career satisfaction. NonStop careers and ITUG involvement go hand in hand. Making the commitment is key.

Becoming involved in ITUG is easy. Specifically, individuals may submit technical articles on topics of expertise, present at the annual Summit amongst other professional colleagues, organize special interest groups (SIGs) or on-line chats. The opportunities are boundless. All of these venues provide opportunities for networking with other industry professionals, sharpening skills, and staying informed of the latest trends. The greater the investment made, the greater taken away. Encourage your colleagues to become involved as well. Surround yourself with people who best know the industry.

ITUG is value-packed, practical education for IT professionals. Getting involved can help build professional value and as a result, the optimum career.

Becoming a Member Volunteer

ITUG's volunteer team is its most vital resource. ITUG activities are carried out by volunteers at all levels, from SIG moderators to the Board of Directors. Involvement in ITUG provides you with many opportunities, from a one-time task to an ongoing commitment.

Volunteering offers a unique opportunity for professional development. You'll gain management skills, professional recognition for you and your organization, the chance to impact the future and personal growth and satisfaction. In return for your commitment, you'll receive training in planning, management techniques, and for your specific volunteer job. As a volunteer you'll enjoy increased networking opportunities and recognition by your peers at ITUG and in the industry.

What's in it for Me?

Volunteering gives you tools for personal and professional growth and success, as well as that of your organizations. The contacts you make while volunteering will be invaluable.

Current Positions Available

Director, Board of Directors

If you are interested in being considered for nomination to the board of directors, please complete the Board Application Form (Microsoft Word Format). This will allow the Nominations Committee to effectively and fairly evaluate all candidates for the Board of Directors openings.
