ITUG Summit 2005 Welcome Reception

ITUG and the ITUG Summit 2005 exhibitors invite you to enjoy a selection of hors d'oeuvres, wine, and beer, as you travel through the Exhibition Hall, visiting with vendors and old friends, as well as making new ones! This is a great chance to see the extensive array of HP and third-party partner products and solutions in a comfortable and social atmosphere. It will also give you a chance to network with your peers from all over the globe in a fun, relaxing setting.

HP and ITUG invite you to be our guest for what is always a grand evening. By popular demand, the ITUG Summit Party will be held at the inventive Tech Museum of Innovation -- an easy one block walk from the conference center and conference hotels. Guests will enjoy a host of high-tech interactive exhibits, live entertainment, and the opportunity to watch a movie in the unique IMAX Dome theater. There will be many opportunities to relax and network with other conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and HP employees and to enjoy a wide variety of delicious food and beverages. Plan to join in the fun!
Customer-to-Developer Chat Rooms
Have you ever wanted to ask a NonStop developer "What were you thinking when you did that?" or to tell them about your personal experience with the products they develop and what would make them even better? If so, then bring your questions and comments with you to the ITUG Summit 2005 and stop by the Customer-to-Developer Chat Room. The Chat Room will be staffed by NonStop developers who will be eager to talk to you throughout the conference. A detailed schedule by topic area will be available on site at the ITUG Summit 2005 registration desk.
Special Interest Group Sessions
Are you a NonStop user who specializes in systems administration? Or perhaps you are looking to increase your expertise in the area of disaster recovery? If so, the ITUG Summit 2005 has a great opportunity for you to meet face-to-face with other experts and specialists in your area of interest. ITUG will host the following SIGs sessions at ITUG Summit 2005:
- Consultant Special Interest Group
This SIG is a resource for consultants to share solutions related to technical and business issues. Discuss issues with NonStop Enterprise Division hear the latest updates from HP staff.
- Disaster Recovery/Business Contingency Special Interest Group
Why isn't Business Continuity taken seriously - air your views at the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery SIG. Let us know if the current HP and partner products meet your needs to implement a real BC solution. There will also be an open forum to discuss any further issues.
- Java Special Interest Group
The Java SIG helps NonStop users with Java in the broadest sense of the word: to develop and deploy performant, manageable, scalable and reliable applications written in Java on NonStop systems. Don't miss the chance to meet the Java users and NED people, to learn their experience and plans and to contribute your knowledge to the Java community!
- NonStop SQL Special Interest Group
Use this great opportunity to talk directly to NonStop SQL product managers and learn from other users’ experiences! Get your questions answered and voice your concerns! You are not alone! This SIG strongly supports your needs and requests. Hear the results of the SIG members’ ‘Requests for Enhancement’ and share your ideas!

ITUG is excited to offer this developing SIG, which will discuss issues surrounding problems and queries with the Open Source system and your HP NonStop server. Don’t miss the change to share your ideas and exchange information.
- Operations Management Special Interest Group
The Operations Management SIG will be valuable to members looking for the latest information about new tools, tips and techniques for managing your HP NonStop Server environment. Whether you have one or one hundred systems, come and share you ideas and exchange information!
- Performance Special Interest Group
ITUG is pleased to offer this important SIG to discuss performance issues, benchmarking and ideas on getting the most out of your HP NonStop Server. Join your colleagues and learn from some of the leading experts in the field during the Performance SIG.
- Security & Audit Special Interest Group
