Business Applications Solutions
Get detailed information about modern NonStop business application solutions addressing the most important needs of your company from industry experts, solution partners, HP visionaries, and NonStop users in the following areas:
- Financial Services
This track will provide information about NonStop based solutions for the Financial Services Industry. HP ISV-partners will provide an update about their most recent solutions and services. Users will report on their experiences and achievements including deploying Itanium™ based NonStop Systems in the Financial Services Industry.
- Communications, Media and Entertainment (CME)
This track will feature sessions about new application solutions for data convergence in CME applications, new technologies in the mobile telephony and mobile data transfer as well as software based home location registers.
- NEW TRACK NAME: Enterprise Solutions
This track will continue to be inclusive of the following industries: Government, Healthcare, Education, Transportation and Homeland Security. Sessions in this track will focus on real-world uses of HP NonStop Server products and services to help you solve your most important business issues, and integrate heterogeneous applications
IT Infrastructure Solutions
Get technical insight on manageability, reliability, and security topics in educational sessions and meet with solution partners with expertise in the following areas:
- Developing Applications
Sessions in this track will cover strategic HP initiatives and user experiences around standard-based application enabling middleware like J2EE Application Servers, Web Services, application development tools such as Enterprise Toolkit and NonStop based database technology like SQL/MX.
- Platforms: NonStop Servers, Storage, Operating Systems, and Data Communications
Sessions in this track will focus on HP NonStop servers with an emphasis on the Intel® Itanium™ processor, NonStop Operating System, and data communications software. Sessions will also deal with heterogeneous architectures.
- Managing Enterprise Applications
This track will focus on managing, protecting, and securing NonStop Systems for maximum availability to attain enterprise reliability, availability, scalability, manageability, and lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) within your organization.
- PROGRAM UPDATE: Database Connectivity Track Cancelled
Due to a lack of customer interest ITUG has decided to cancel this track in order to offer more focus for the other IT Infrastructre sessions.

The NonStop Systems certification levels are based on a series of technical exams that demonstrate a technical
expertise on the HP NonStop system. This track includes several exam overview sessions for experienced HP
NonStop system professionals. The sessions are designed to give participants a chance to ask questions about the published competencies that are tested in first level exams. Follow-up your exam overview session by taking a certification exam, compliments of HP and ITUG, in the onsite testing center.
