ITUG Summit 2006 hosted the third annual Leaders Day for executive-level customers on Monday, 16 October. This interactive, limited attendance program focused on business solutions for executives responsible for technology directions, and fosters dialogue between attendees and HP executives.

The Leaders Day program provided a forum focused on discussion, interaction, and information sharing. Industry analyst, Nina Lytton, President and Principal Analyst of Open System Advisors once again facilitated the Leaders Day program, offering her industry vision and knowledge to support group discussions throughout the day.

Nina Lytton has spent 20 years analyzing major issues in applying technology to business. She provides advice on clients' most pressing issues in light of business, market and technical realities. For technology user corporations, Lytton provides a confidential sounding board for executive teams making major decisions about IT investments.

Shane Robison is responsible for shaping HP’s overall corporate strategy and technology agenda. He steers the company’s $3.5 billion research and development investment as well as fostering the development of the company’s 30,000 plus technical community. All of the company’s senior chief technology officers and the director of HP Labs report into Robison.

ITUG Summit 2006 Leaders Day program was a private event for Leaders Day participants, HP executives, and HP customer hosts only. The program also included VIP seating for the ITUG Summit 2006 opening day featured speaker sessions.
