Expand and sharpen your technical expertise through the following NonStop-related tracks presented by HP developers, managers, and product engineers; experienced NonStop users; and third-party vendors.
- SOA and Application Development
Sessions feature user experiences and HP directions around standard-based application enabling middleware and application development infrastructure. SOA topics will include real-world uses of the HP NonStop server as an integration hub for enterprise architectures, SOA components, and best practices for using SOA to expose existing Pathway-based applications as web services. Other sessions will cover topics such as JAVA, OSS and open source, language new features, and Eclipse.
- Security
Sessions focus on NonStop server security and ways to achieve your compliance goals. Sessions will cover topics such as new security capabilities and their application and tips and techniques for securing your systems.
- Database (SQL/MX) and Business Intelligence
Sessions focus on databases on HP NonStop servers. Topics may include SQL/MX best practices, database performance, and migrating from SQL/MP to SQL/MX.
- Platforms (including Blades and Manageability)
Sessions focus on HP NonStop servers with an emphasis on the NS series and next-generation systems, storage, and data communication and platform manageability. Sessions will highlight real-life experiences in migrating to NS-series NonStop servers, upcoming HP products, and system manageability products and best practices.
- Business Continuity
Sessions focus on ways to make HP NonStop systems even more available. Presentations which might have this focus include those which address: ways of designing applications and configuring systems for availability; operational and system management procedures; and business continuity procedures and experiences.
- Business Solutions
This track focuses on industries such as retail, financial services and provide business knowledge on NonStop based industry solutions, industry trends, changes in the market place and also taking advantage of market places changes. Users will report on their experiences and achievements including cost savings and efficiency. Additionally, this track features sessions about new application solutions for data convergence in CME applications, new technologies in the mobile telephony and mobile data transfer as well as software based home location registers.
