HP and the HP User Communities, ITUG and Encompass, invite you to be our guest for one of the highlights of HP Technology Forum & Expo 2008. The User Community Member Party will be held in the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay – a renowned Las Vegas venue. Guests will enjoy live entertainment from FUSE that will provide an evening filled with classic rock and roll. ITUG, Encompass, and HP-Interex EMEA members are welcome to relax and network with other conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and HP employees — all while enjoying delicious food and beverages. Plan to join in the fun!

Special Events

Howie Mandel, one of the most dynamic comedic stage performers in show business today, will perform at the HP Technology Forum & Expo 2008 closing general session on Thursday morning.

A comedian, actor, talk and game show host, writer, and producer—Mandel reached American prominence in the ‘80's both as a comedian and as Dr. Wayne Fiscus on the award-winning NBC drama “St. Elsewhere.” He later served as creator, executive producer and voice talent for the Emmy Award-nominated animated children series “Bobby's World” which ran eight seasons on FOX and now appears in syndication in 65 countries. Most recently, he's taken the spotlight as host for the high-stakes game show “Deal or No Deal,” one of the most watched shows on TV. Mandel has done countless comedy specials both on cable and network television, and he frequently appears on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno performing his signature hidden-camera bits.

Matchbox Twenty, one of the most successful bands to emerge in the past decade, will perform live for all event attendees to conclude the HP Technology Forum & Expo 2008 on Thursday, June 19.

Matchbox Twenty's smash hits include “Push,” “3am,” and “Real World.” They followed their 2002 album More Than You Think You Are with last year's retrospective album Exile on Mainstream, returning to the airwaves stronger than ever, with new songs and the same the driving energy that's kept Matchbox Twenty at the top of the charts.
