Community Connect Europe 2008 is the first-ever event that provides an opportunity for users, prospects, and third-party vendors of ITUG, HP-Interex EMEA, and Encompass throughout the EMEA region to gather in one place for learning, networking, and sharing individual and corporate experiences.
The event will provide the traditional HP NonStop content that prior ITUG Europe attendees have come to expect but will also offer technical education and networking opportunities across all HP enterprise technology.

Since the ETUG meeting in Brighton, I am responsible for the Integrity Migration SIG, as we have been the first to migrate a production environment to Integrity.

SIG Leader Spotlight: Terra Luft
Job/Role in ITUG: NonStop Systems Manager for Zions Management Services Corporation, A subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation. I have 12 years experience supporting Tandem/NonStop in various roles in Operations, Operations Management and System Engineering across several industries. I am currently involved with ITUG as the Operations Management SIG Leader, which is my first role with ITUG.

ITUG Summit 2008 Call for Presentations Open through 25 January
ITUG Summit 2008 at HP Technology Forum & Expo, 16-19 June in Las Vegas, Nevada is the premier event for user training and technical information for the NonStop community.
Be recognized among your HP NonStop peers and submit a presentation proposal for review by this Friday, 25 January for the opportunity to present a session during ITUG Summit 2008. ITUG welcomes first-time submitters and seasoned presenters alike. One complimentary full conference pass will be given per selected presentation.

Board Member Spotlight: Stan Prushik
Stan Prushik is an independent management and HP NonStop consultant in Massapequa, New York. He has been elected to the Board to serve as the Finance and Audit Committee chairman, and his past experience with ITUG includes eight years on the Board.
Currently Reading: “King of the Club - Richard Grasso and the Survival of the New York Stock Exchange” by Charles Gasparino and “The 6th Target” by James Patterson.
Favorite Movie: “The Ten Commandments” and “Ben Hur,” but I also like science fiction.
Family/Hobbies: Wife, three sons and two granddaughters. I jog and play golf (just a beginner).
What do you hope on contributing to the Finance and Audit Committee: As Finance and Audit Committee Chair, I will be diligent in finding ways to reduce expenses. At the same time, I will be working with the rest of the board to find new initiatives to generate increased revenues.
What does ITUG have planned for 2008? Once again, ITUG Summit 2008 will be held in collaboration with HP Technology Forum & Expo in Las Vegas. ITUG plans to become more relevant in our offerings to the incoming generation of IT professionals, offer expanded content to regional events, and continue our collaboration with Encompass. We need to find ways to coexist with other user groups and reinforce our importance to stakeholders, including HP, while maintaining our financial viability.

How to Renew:
Log in to www.itug.org and click on "Renew your membership now!" to renew your membership for two years. If you prefer to renew for one year, contact ITUG headquarters at itug@itug.org or call +1.312.321.6851 for assistance. Remember to update contact information on your member profile to continue receiving important ITUG updates and member benefit information.
Corporate and vendor members may also renew online for a two-year membership. All corporate memberships include membership for six people, and each additional person costs $100 USD. If you have an individual membership and would like to learn about corporate memberships or ask whether your co-workers have memberships, contact ITUG headquarters.
